WHAT WE DO

Conflict Coaching

Practical, one-on-one support for navigating difficult relationships, high-stakes conversations, and the kind of conflict that keeps finding its way back to your desk.

What it is.

Conflict coaching is a focused, confidential conversation, or series of conversations, with someone who knows this terrain.

It is not therapy. It is not legal advice. It is a clear-eyed, practical process for people who are in the middle of something difficult and need help making sense of it, preparing for what is ahead, or building the capacity to handle conflict better over time.

Whether you are preparing for a conversation you have been avoiding, trying to understand why a situation has spiralled, or recognising that your default response to conflict is not working, conflict coaching gives you the space and support to move forward with more clarity and confidence.

Conflict coaching is for individuals navigating a relational breakdown with a colleague, direct report, or manager.

  • A high-stakes conversation they need to prepare for and get right.

  • A situation that has escalated beyond what they expected and they are not sure how to respond.

  • Recurring conflict patterns they are starting to recognise in themselves.

  • A performance issue, either their own or someone they are responsible for.

It is particularly well-suited to leaders and senior professionals who carry significant relational responsibility and need a thinking partner who can meet the complexity of their situation without simplifying it.

Who it’s for.

How it works.

1

Initial session

Travis begins by understanding your situation: what is happening, what has been tried, and what a good outcome would look like for you. No assumptions, no quick fixes.

2

Making sense of it

Together you explore the dynamics at play: what is driving the conflict, what each party may need, and where the conversation has been getting stuck. Travis draws on ontological coaching and facilitative approaches to help you see it clearly.

3

Preparing for what is ahead

Where relevant, Travis helps you prepare for difficult conversations: what you want to say, how to hold the space, and how to respond if things do not go to plan.

4

Building capacity over time

For those wanting more than a one-off session, coaching can run as a series of conversations, building your long-term ability to navigate tension, lead through disagreement, and recover well when things go sideways.

What you walk away with.

Clarity on what is actually driving the conflict, beneath the surface. Practical language and approaches for the conversations that matter. Preparation and confidence for high-stakes interactions. A shift from reactive to more intentional responses. Greater awareness of your own patterns under pressure and how to work with them.
