The ClearStory
Most people arrive at a conflict or a challenge already telling themselves a story about it. That it's stuck. That they've tried everything. That this is just how it is now.
I'm Travis Fitch, Director of ClearStory Co. I work across workplace mediation, conflict coaching, executive development, and process advisory with leaders and teams throughout Australia, and with clients in the US and the UK.
Two things sit underneath all of my work. The first is a genuine care for people facing challenges they don't yet feel hopeful about, the ones who aren't sure what moving forward looks like. Sitting with people in that experience, and supporting them to find a way through, is work I never tire of. The second is a deep commitment to leader development, and to helping people across a variety of sectors and leadership levels influence their world in life-giving ways. When leaders see themselves more clearly, everyone around them feels it.
Alongside my work with executives and teams, I can also be found working with high-performance athletes. The work there is the same at its heart: helping people perform not by chasing the next result, but by getting grounded in who they are being underneath it all. When your worth isn’t dependent on a scoreboard or outcome, you’re free to do the very thing you came to do. Being holds up doing, never the other way around.
The conflict work, the leadership work, the work with athletes… Different arenas, one belief. “What we do flows from who we are being in the world, and clarity about that changes what is possible – for ourselves and those around us.”
